Additionally, third-party developers can create plugins for the chatbot using OpenAI's documentation, which has already resulted in plugins from Instacart, Milo, OpenTable, and other companies. OpenAI plans to introduce an online plugin store to let users purchase third-party plugins. These plugins will also help ChatGPT in tackling various day-to-day challenges by giving it access to external data, customised information based on the plugin, code-based calculations, and more.
