Hypocrisy Of America

America's dependence on nuclear energy is going to increase more than ever. This is because no company in the US produces uranium. That's why America is forced to deal with Russia.

"The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for more than a year. Both countries are not ready to give up. In such a situation, many countries are with Ukraine, including America. To express their anger towards Russia America had stopped buying fossil fuels for the same reason, however, in the meantime, a shocking media report has come out that America is buying about $ 1 billion of fuel every year from Russia's nuclear agency.

The situation shows that America's dependence on nuclear energy is going to increase further than before. This is because no company in the US produces uranium. That's why America is forced to deal with Russia.

In fact, America has completely stopped the enrichment and production of uranium. He had never paid attention to this. But now because of this he has to deal with Russia. When war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, the US and Europe imposed many sanctions. America has decided that it will stop buying fossil fuel from Russia and it is still sticking to this decision. However, when it came to uranium, America had to deal with Russia. It is being told that if this deal was not done then America itself would have been in trouble.

According to experts, it may take a year for the US and Europe to become self-sufficient in uranium production. The special thing is that not only America and European countries, but about a dozen countries of the world depend on Russia for uranium in the operation of more than half of their energy companies. The Russian Nuclear Agency also commands the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine.

Uranium is paid to Rosatom's subsidiaries. About a third of the uranium used in the US is now imported from Russia, the world's cheapest producer. Much of the rest is imported from Europe. A small portion is produced by a British-Dutch-German consortium operating in the United States. The company that operates the Ohio plant says it may take more than a decade to compete with Rosatom.
